The works selected for the gala will be presented in the 550-seat Jeanne Wagner Theatre in Downtown Salt Lake City, home to resident companies Repertory Dance Theatre and the Ririe Woodbury Dance Company. Please be sure to follow all instructions carefully. Eligibility and submission requirements must be strictly adhered to or applicants risk disqualification.

The call for the 2019 festival in August has closed. Entries for the 2020 festival will open on November 1, 2019.

The NCDP artistic director invites choreography in any genre or style. The festival’s creative team encourages innovative and contemporary approaches to choreography, including fused forms (e.g. contemporary ballet, contemporary jazz, African-modern, contemporary hip-hop, etc.), dance theater, and experimental work; international dance styles and traditions, and work influenced by such are also encouraged. Diversity of work, performers and choreographers is highly valued.
